Germany, tall clock, 8 day, time, strike and chime on gongs, three brass weight driven movement in a mahogany case with beveled glass trunk door, broken arch top, paw feet, three wooden finials and applied moldings on base with brass dial, silvered chapter ring, applied brass spandrels, moon phase and seconds bit. this clock is in need of major restoration. There are numerous scrapes and scuffs and some sections of the applied moldings on base are absent. The pendulum rod needs to be repaired immediately above the bob. One of the front paw feet is broken in pieces and some are absent. The finials are period replacements and one has bee repaired.
