Beach and Byington, Terryville, Conn., steeple clock with a double fusee 30 hour time, strike and alarm movement in a rosewood veneered case. The rosewood case has an old finish. The original painted dial, in excellent condition, is signed "Beach & Byington, Terryville, Conn". The hour hand is original and the minute hand a replacement. The top door glass is original as is the painted tablet in the bottom of the door. Note the separate wheel on the fusee board for the alarm mechanism. The two finials have loss to their tops. The case interior has a beautiful green Beach & Byington label. This is a scarce clock and the first one we have offered for auction.
