Most of the old finish on the case has been removed. There are no areas of veneer loss. The original signed painted dial has darkened with age and shows some paint loss. The movement is signed. The hour hand is original. The minute hand is period, but not a mate. The lower movement mounting block is a replacement. Both finials have some tip loss. The door upper clear glass may be replaced, but the interesting lower tablet is original. A scarce clock.
