Waltham Clock Co., Waltham, Mass., banjo wall clock in off-white painted case stamped "1816", arabic numeral dial signed "Waltham", brass side ornaments flanking the reverse-painted glasses, the waist glass with eagle perched on a shield and the lower with a War of 1812 scene showing a British and American ship in battle, all on an off-white and green carved and painted pedestal, eight day time only brass spring powered movement secured to the back of the dial, with lever escapement and marked "Waltham Watch Co./USA".
