Smith (Samuel B.) & Goodrich (Chauncey), Bristol, Conn. miniature empire shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day fusee timepiece movement in a rosewood veneered case. The case retains some original finish with minor veneer loss on the lower left return. The original painted dial is signed, darkened with age and shows some loss on the left hand side. The hour hand is original. The minute hand is missing. The door glasses are original with loss of decorative paint on the dial glass while the lower glass is now clear.
