the case has an old finish and has an age split below the window on the right side of the hood. The painted metal dial is in very good condition other than losses on the calendar disc. The weights, finial, feet and pendulum are original. The clock's provenance includes Tippy O'Neil and the Yonderhill Dwellers of the Hudson Valley, famous in the antiques trade in the mid 20th century.

Unsigned, New Jersey tall clock, 8 day, time and bell strike, weight driven movement in a mahogany and mahogany veneer broken arch case with bracket feet, inlaid around circular crotch mahogany panel on plinth, boxwood border framing trunk door and corner columns with crotch mahogany panel, the hood door is flanked by two full columns that are inlaid with boxwood and ebony, three brass finials, brass rosettes on broken arch. The painted metal dial has female selling flowers in arch and painted fruit and bird gold spandrels and calendar disc under center arbor. the case has an old finish and has an age split below the window on the right side of the hood.
