Terryville Manufacturing Company, Terryville, Connecticut Candlestand Clock c. 1855, with 2 3/4-inch paper on zinc dial signed Terryville Mfg. Co., Terryville, Conn., thirty-hour timepiece with four arm balance wheel, hairspring, and regulator below the movement, back plate stamped, Terryville Manufacturing Company, Terryville, Conn., Patented October 5th, 1852, milk glass pedestal and glass dome the paper dial has turned brown with age, but retains its brass bezel which is often missing on this model. Otherwise this is an outstanding example of this pre-civil war clock in excellent condition.
