Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn. Steeple on Frame with Candle Finials shelf clock with an wagon spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement. The case finish has lost its finish. There is minor veneer loss on the case. The original painted dial is in good condition with some loss at the mounting points. The movement is signed. The hands are original. The upper door glasses are original with the lower glass maintaining its original design and blue painted border. The lower glass door is also original with a small crack on the lower right side and some minor loss to the design on the glass. This glass also has a painted blue border with loss in the top right of the glass which is currently covered with a strip of blue tape. The wagon spring mechansim has been painted gold. A nice finish would make this a very presentable example.
