the case retains an old finish with a great "T. Chandler" brand on the seat board. The right half of fretwork is broken and needs to be reglued. There is a repair to crack on right return cove molding. The seatboard has a very old cleat on the right side that corresponds to the very old additions to the risers. The outer dial including spandrels and arch has been cleaned, calendar wheel has flaking and the seconds bit has been touched up. The tin can weights are original.
