this is a very uncommon clock, and the first one we are selling in 37 years. Ansonia first merchandised this model in 1883, but it did not sell well, and the patterns were revised to this configuration. (see this exact model in Ly's Ansonia book, page 186, from the Wyer collection): This clock is in excellent original condition, with original barrel pendulum, beat scale, dial, cherubs, mirrors and finish. Minor rippling in the black paper backing inside case. Rear original about 2/3 remaining. Sure to please any Ansonia collector.
