The mahogany case retains its original finish and is in near perfect condition. The silver and gold-plated cast pierce dial is in excellent condition. The hands are original. The movement is stamped "89X" and the striking mechanism is stamped "104E". This clock is an excellent example of a very scarce Seth Thomas 8 Bell Sonora chime clock.
