original day and month rollers are dark and virtually unreadable. There is oxidation on the dial where nickel has worn away. Movement is complete and sound, ticks and strikes, but will need service. The box case is in excellent original condition, with wonderful patina, shadows and a few fly specs all latches and hinges intact. Although reproductions of this model abound, we guarantee this clock's authenticity and origin (Dr. Rowell's collection): For additional details, see the book CALENDAR CLOCKS, by Tran Duy Ly (1993), pages 148-9.
