Jacob Guthart, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, tall case clock, 8 day, time, strike and calendar with four hands off of center arbor, weight driven movement in a mahogany veneer case with a broken arch top, three wooden finials, four turned full columns over cove molded and chamfered sides flanking crotch mahogany trunk door all resting on French feet. The painted metal dial has maker's signature, moon phase and sweep seconds. the case has an old finish nicely rubbed down. One finial has a 1/2" chip and there are small repairs near locks on both the hood and trunk door. There is a small veneer repair above trunk door. There is a tight age split on base. The feet are original. The weights and pendulum are period.
