the case retains its original finish but is incomplete. The carved trim elements on the top and the entire base are absent. The wooden bezel is split into two pieces. There is no glass over dial and the dial is not signed by Howard but appears to original to the case with some flaking. The weight is a replacement. The original beat scale and stand and four vial mercury pendulum are present. Mercury is included and requires special handling. A very desirable model, well worth the effort required to restore. Joel Warren of www.ithacacalendarclocks.com has the plans for this clock and is willing to assist in restoration.
