(2) Free-swinger with Jugendstil and Arts and Crafts influences, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven movement in an the oak case with applied moldings and ornaments, brass embossed pendulum, Arabic numeral brass dial with blued steel hands, movement serial number 1,814,598. (1) The gallery clock with metal dial that is a replacement. The case has been nicely refinished. Hands with light rust. The movement ticks briskly. (2) The free swinger has been carefully refinished. The base is a bit loose and cornice molding repaired. The movement access panels has been replaced. Hands have some oxidation. Pendulum and convex glass are good. The movement will need mechanical attention.
