(2) Waltham Clock Co., Waltham, Mass., lancet mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven balance wheel movement in a walnut case with silvered dial reading "J.E. Caldwell & Co.". (3) Shatz, Germany, 400 day or anniversary clock, time only, spring driven movement with torsion pendulum in a brass and glass case. (1) Case has nicks to paint on the edges. Gilding has worn off of legs in spots. (2) Case with an original finish. Silvered dial somewhat darkened with tarnish. Glass is loose.
