Birge, Peck & Co., Bristol, Conn., Cornice and Column shelf clock with a weight driven, 8 day, time and strike brass strap movement in a mahogany case. The case retains some original finish and has minor veneer loss or repair in several areas. The original painted dial is in very good condition with minor loss at the four mounting pins. The hands are original. All three door glasses are original with the center glass depicting the Merchant's Exchange building in Philadelphia.
