Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "12E Deck & Engine Room Clock", 8 day, time only, spring driven movement with jeweled lever escapement and center seconds in a black phenolic case with hinged bezel, 8.5 inch white dial signed "U.S. Government" with 12 and 24 hour markers, blued steel spade hands, all mounted to a molded hardwood backer, movement serial number 871004, c1992. Black phenolic case has just barely started to develop the typical uneven surface finish. Dial has a slight amount of wear around the winding arbor. The clock is not centered on the wood backer, which has a few losses on the left side. The movement ticks briskly. Dimensions include wood backer board.
