The cast brass case with foliate design is dusty, but appears complete with no breaks to the leaves and scrolls. The original gilding is gone except for the deepest spots within the casting. The lower left porcelain panel has a crack running through it. The convex beveled glass and gold hands are very good. The movement ticks and strikes on a cathedral gong, but was not tested long term.
