Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish. Both scroll ears have been repaired. The feet show repairs and may be replaced along with the skirt as it is thicker than usual. Period wood dial plate has been repainted. Wood movement is period, but not by Samuel Terry who made all the movements for this firm. Original tablet has scattered loss. Original hands and a nice set of original finials. Paper label inside has some staining. Metal dust cover on the back is missing. This firm only existed 1824-1827 and Eli Terry was a silent partner.
