Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Ruskin" crystal regulator shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike visible escapement movement with patent self adjusting beat in a polished brass case. The hour strike is on a cathedral gong and the half hour strike on a separate cup bell. The case with cast lily pads is in excellent condition. All four glass panels are free of any chips. The signed porcelain dial has 3 hairline cracks. The hands are original. The movement is signed.
