William L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Amphion" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement in a walnut case and cut glass mirror panels in the case. The case is in good condition with original finish. There are two missing small strips, one below each of the two cut glass mirror panels aside the door. The cut glass mirror in the case base is missing The other two mirrors are showing a minor case of corrosion. The original paper dial is in good condition but has darkened. The hands are original. The stenciled door glass is original. The movement is signed.
