Clocks- 2 (Two) French Wall: (1) France, Morbier "bakery" clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in an ebonized wood case with mother of pearl inlay, backpainted glass dial, c1900. (2) France, Morbier or Comtoise clock, 8 day, time and strike with prayer repeat, weight driven crown wheel escapement, pressed brass dial surround, enamel dial reading "Robert Langrand / St. Florentin", (seller, not maker) pendulum with addorsed brass birds over brass pendulum disk, c1840. (1) Case is in very nice condition. Some fine cracks in the black finish of the dial surround. Dial is good with just a bit of yellowing between the winding arbors. Square French movement. (2) Dial has many fine hairline cracks in the upper left. Floral design on dial is vibrant and signature very legible. Brass dial surround is in very good condition. The pendulum bob has many small dents and one long stain in the middle. Modern iron wall bracket is included to hang the clock. Dimensions are for bakery clock (1) .
