Mahogany and mahogany banded case in an old and possibly original finish. The cherry frame and mahogany veneered doors have some age cracks in the veneer. Original painted dial has some a couple small repairs and some loss at the mounting pins. Dial is attached to the case with two L-turns. Movement is attached to the case with a screw through the backboard. The two old tablets are replacements. Period brass finial and hands.
