Clocks- 4 (Four) European shelf: (1) Gustav Becker, German, 400 day or anniversary clock, spring driven movement with a solid disk torsion pendulum, c1915. (2) Japy Freres, Paris, mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with silk thread suspension in an ormolu case featuring a woman in prayer, c1855. (3) Japy Freres, Paris, mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, pendule de Paris movement in an ormolu case depicting a fisherman, c1875. (4) France, mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement in a black slate case with variegated marble accents, c1880. (1) Clock is in very good cosmetic condition. Present dome is too tall. (2) Gilt has worn off of cast spelter on some of the high spots. Small hairline crack in the dial. Good Breguet style steel hands. (3) Case has been regilded. There is a missing element to the left of the figure. Dial and hands are in very good condition. (4) Small chips to the edges of black slate case. Dial, beveled glass, and hands are in good condition.
