Gilt and mahogany case in an old finish has a cracked board on the upper right side of the box, some damage at the door latch, loss to the gilt balls on the bottom bracket and a repaired break to the carved eagle finial. The tablets look to be old replacements. The hour wheel on the movement looks replaced. Original painted dial has some loss on the outer edges. Movement is attached to the case with two L-turns. The brass sidearms might be replaced as they look a little short. There is a crack in the backboard on the lower right side. Nice period hands.
