Clocks- 2 (Two) Unusual: (1) S. Marti, Paris, France, triple dial perpetual calendar mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike with barometer on second dial, third dial showing month, day of the month, day of the week, age of the moon, and leap year, oversized spring-driven movement with visible Brocot escapement in a large black slate case with green malachite accents. (2) Sessions Clock Co., Forestville, Conn., for Philco, Philadelphia, "Philco Transitone Model 53-707", electric clock, radio, and lamp, in a wood case with fabric covered door over radio controls, c1957. (1) The black slate case has suffered some major damage especially on the top and back. A repair was attempted, but there are substantial losses, cracks, and gaps. Beveled glasses and dials are undamaged. The movement escapes and the calendar advanced during our brief test. The pendulum has been repaired and the suspension spring will need to be replaced. This clock is extremely heavy and fragile, if shipping is a consideration. (2) The clock and radio were not tested. Dimensions provided are for the French clock. Sold "as is".
