The clock arm is in good original condition, the spheres with discolored lacquer, some tarnish and minor dings, and the cast top ornament with a solder repair on the back. The figure, cast in brass, is a reproduction. That said, it is a fairly convincing one. The added wooden base and presence of lamp hardware suggest that it may have served as a lamp at some point or simply acquired some parts from one. The twisted wire that connects the figure's hand to the birds has been replaced with some steel cable. The stamped movement ticks, but was not tested long term.

Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Huntress" figural swinger, 8 day, time only, spring-driven movement mounted inside a brass sphere with cast ribbon ornament and applied Arabic numerals, Louis XV style hands, held aloft by a patinated spelter figure of a young woman carrying game birds in her other hand, standing on an ebonized cast iron base. The clock arm is in good original condition, the spheres with discolored lacquer, some tarnish and minor dings, and the cast top ornament with a solder repair on the back. The figure, cast in brass, is a reproduction. That said, it is a fairly convincing one.
