Mahogany case in an old finish. This example was most likely was made to have a clear finish as the grain painted cases were made of cherry. This example has a painted dial instead of paper. It is original, but the numerals and signature have been strengthened and it has a clear coat over the paint. Throat tablet is original. Bottom tablet is replaced. Original hands. The pendulum and rod look replaced as the keystone and rod are not the type usually found on H & D clocks.
