Regina Musical Box Co., Rahway, N.J., "Style 11a" 15.5 inch double comb music box with 10 discs, oak case with stepped ogee base and locking drawer, rope molding, stepped, molded lid, the inside with music-themed Regina lithograph, front metal plate reading "Murray, Spink Co. / Providence, R.I.". The case has an original finish with one small loss to the molding on the lower right side. The drawer is missing three of the four inner trays. The front left foot is a replacement. New screws hold the oak panels around the bed. One of these panels has a longitudinal split. The original paper lithograph under the lid has been repaired with transparent tape. The combs are in good condition, although one can see a lot of oxidation on the lead pieces below. The music box plays wells and there are not teeth missing, but the mainspring has broken or become unhooked so that a full wind cannot be achieved. Three working locks with keys for drawer and lid.
