Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old and possibly original finish. The throat frame is attached to the case with four screws has some age cracks, small repairs on the top corners and small piece missing on the lower right corner. Bottom door has a small repair at the lower right corner. Throat tablet is old with gold paint used to repair gilding loss. Bottom tablet looks original with repairs to the background and center area. Original dial is fastened to the case with two L-turns and has been repainted. T-bridge movement. Period hands. One of the diamonds on the right side arm has broken off, but is included. Replaced eagle finial.
