This is the smallest of the five Howard No. 70 sizes. It has a 12 inch painted dial in excellent condition with loss only at the mounting holes and one small area of inpainting to the right of the center post. The hands are original. The nickel-plated movement is signed and stamped "70". The pendulum rod and bob are original as is the pendulum lock down bracket. The lower door tablet is original as is the glass in the dial bezel door. The case retains some original finish and has several small dings along the case bottom. Finish on the door is somewhat uneven.
