John Bliss & Co., New York, two day marine chronometer, 11 jewel fusee movement with spotted plates, Earnshaw's escapement, freesprung, cut bimetallic balance, diamond endstone, and blued steel helical balance spring, Roman numeral silvered dial with wind indicator and gold spade and poker hands, with gimballed, lacquered brass bowl, and contained in a later, three tier mahogany box with brass furniture, serial #3048 running, plates with minor scratches and scattered spotting, dial with minor discoloration, hands good, bezel replaced, bowl in old lacquer, gimbal polished, box with scratches, a few dings, top with split, hardware with tarnish, plaque missing.
