Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 70", wall clock, 8 day, time only, brass weight driven movement in a mahogany case with a painted metal dial and large engraved brass beat scale the case retains its original finish with a 3" thin piece of left return molding split. The pendulum rod appears original but has been repainted. The dial is in excellent condition. This clock shares the same movement as some of Seth Thomas' other high end regulators, like the No. 19. This is a nice example of a rare Seth Thomas wall clock.
