This is a seldom seen Office Regulator No. 3 with a time and strike movement. The case is in excellent condition and has a very nice original finish. The original painted dial is in good condition with fine craquelure and minor loss at the mounting holes. The white portion of the dial has been touched up in several places. The paint color match is very good. The hands are original. The seconds hand may be replaced. The door glasses are original. This gilt trim around the bottom door glass is in excellent condition. The movement is signed. The pendulum bob is nicely damascened. The case back carries a factory date of March, 1896.
