movement good overall, running, a bit oily, a few screws with minor oxide, scattered minor spotting and staining, minor verdigris on mainspring setup pawl, fusee stop spring with a few spots of oxide, dial very good, with a few fine scratches, minute hand with minor bends, bowl and gimbals polished and lacquered, box very good, with minor marks and fine scratches, hardware with losses to lacquer and some tarnish. Dent chronometer #3106, also 8 day, is listed in Mercer's "Chronometer Makers of the World"
