Case with good original finish. New paper applied over painted metal dial. Nice single barrel pendulum. Hands are probably original. Signed Welch movement. Backboard has a long split running from top to bottom. The case is not unlike examples of the "State" series (e.g. Iowa, Kansas, Texas, etc.) sold by the American Clock Company of New York, which used movement by Welch and others.
