Netherlands, Frisian stoelklok, 30 hour, time and strike with alarm, weight driven movement with verge escapement, the clock resting on a polychrome painted shelf with mermaids and painted floral decoration, lead ornaments throughout, Roman numeral painted, arcaded dial with landscape painting with windmills above, and pierced brass hands. Some repairs and paint loss to the painted wooden shelf. The mermaids are dark, but well-painted. Typical baluster turned brass four pillar movement. Pendulum is absent. Dust shields are missing. One large brass clad weight is included in the lot.
