(1) Paper dial is stained. Original finish in fairly good condition. Correct hands. American flag decal on lower glass is a later addition. Black paint around dial is degrading. Central portion of crest is missing revealing that the portion that is normally hidden has lion's face. (2) Case finish has darkened and formed very fine wrinkles. Graphics on throat and door tablet are still clear. Silvered dial in good condition. Proper hands and finial. Dimensions are for the Observatory (1) .
