(1) Unusual custom made "upside down" regulator case is in excellent condition. The pendulum hangs from the top of the case and is accessible from behind the upper door. A long pivoted rod extends upward from a Ansonia movement's crutch to impulse the pendulum above. Sadly, "Peterson's pivot" has broken and will need to be repaired. Custom painted dial reads "George A. Peterson / Detroit ". Mr. Peterson expended great effort to create this unique clock. (2) The case has an original finish and some very loose and missing veneer. The case will need to be reglued. The original dial is soiled. Hands have some rust. The time recorder mechanism is absent, so this is now a timepiece only. Glass is missing. Dimensions are for (1) .
