Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) France, mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with silk thread suspension in a two-piece porcelain figural case, c1840; (2) Japy Freres & Cie, Paris, crystal regulator, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement with compensating pendulum in a glazed brass case, c1905. (1) Enamel dial with hairline cracks and two small filled losses. Female figure with repaired break at the waist. Diminutive movement is unsigned. No back to the case so was once under a dome. (2) Good overall condition. The brass is lightly tarnished. Good dial. Back door is difficult to open. There is a crack in the top of one of the pendulum vials, but it is not leaking. Dimensions are for the crystal regulator
