Black painted base has slight damage spot on the outer edge. Paper dial looks to be original and has some surface abrasion caused by the hands. The hands are not the usual type found on these timepieces, but these look old. The nice glass dome may be later, but it fits the base perfectly. This early example was manufactured by toy manufacturer George W. Brown, but later examples of this clock was manufactured by E. N. Welch Mfg. Co.
