Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Design No. 4" Plato timepiece, 30 hour, time only, spring driven balance wheel movement in a cylindrical brass and glass case with digital flip-card time display, c1907; (2) Boston Clock Co., Boston, Mass. for Bailey Banks, & Biddle, carriage clock, 8 day, time and strike, tandem-wind spring driven balance wheel movement in a glazed brass case, c1890. (1) Base portions of the case have developed a green verdigris. Two of the back legs are bent so the clock does not sit level. Glass cylinder is excellent. Card retainer is loose within the case. The movement is signed with the Gebruder Junghans trademark. The balance spring will need to be restudded. This is a fancier and scarcer model than commonly found. (2) Brass has a soft patina. Beveled glasses and white enamel dial are excellent. Rear movement plate is signed and stamped "D 227 ".
