Botsford's patent lever escapement on a wood base with paper mache front. Paper mache front timepiece with original gold and mother of pearl is in very fine condition. Original porcelain dial has a deep scratch running from the center arbor hold to the 8 o'clock position. Minute hand is replaced. Painted wood base retains original decoration. The glass dome is absent. Nice label on the back. The movement is dirty and oily, but insists on running nevertheless.
