Clocks- 3 (Three) French: (1) France, carriage clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with lever escapement in a glazed Corniche style case, c1900; (2) Japy Freres & Cie, Paris, crystal regulator, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement with compensating pendulum in a glazed brass case with white porcelain dial with garlands, c1910; (3) France, figural mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement in an ormolu case depicting a farming couple, white enamel dial with blued steel hands, c1880; Also included in the lot are four crystal regulator cases, one with movement. (1) Brass portions of the case have a dark patina. White enamel dial has a few fine hairline cracks. Beveled glasses are good, except for the upper right corner of the front one. Balance and balance spring appear to be good. Movement strikes. (2) Metal case parts have turned very dark. Polychrome dial is in good condition. Beveled glasses are good. Movement is signed. (3) Case has been painted gold. Several piece of the case have broken off and several are included in the lot. Enamel dial has several hairline cracks. Standard French movement is not signed. Cases are for parts or repair. Dimensions are for the figural clock (3). Sold "as is ".
