Clocks- 2 (Two) French desk: (1) Japy Freres, Paris, desk clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement with lever escapement in a wood drum case supported by gilt brass feet and topped with gilt brass ornament, c1905; (2) France, miniature clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement in a metal case in the form of an Empire portico clock, white enamel dial and blued steel Breguet style hands, c1915. (1) The clock is in very nice condition. Breaks to the wood drum case has been repaired and it has received an application of clear coat. The white enamel dial has been carefully repaired in two places. The movement is signed with the Japy horse shoe trademark. (2) The small, detailed portico case is in very good condition. Dial and hands are good. The small round movement is unsigned. Dimensions are for the Japy Freres. Sold "as is ".
