France, ceramic and ormolu mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement in a vibrant porcelain vase-form case mounted on a gilt metal base with floral swag, flanked by horned rams, and topped with an urn finial, polychrome painted dial with putto, gilt hands. the cast brass case is in excellent condition with much of the gilding intact. Painted dial is perfect. Convex beveled glass is very good. Original hands. Movement is signed "Vassy Jejre / Paris ". Serial number on the back of movement matches the one stamped on the pendulum.
