Enamel dial is excellent. Cartouche with maker's name is very legible. Cast fronton is in good condition. Iron hands are well made. Very small amount of surface rust on some iron parts. Back plate and side doors are missing. Turned escape wheel arbor support. Medium-sized stepped feet at the base of movement pillars. Dovetailed appendage for center arbor support. Iron fly with four blades. Suspension shroud is 4.75 inches tall and has no rear cover. No weights or pendulum. F. Farjaire is known to be the maker of a very rare comtoise with a rotating moon complication. The clock in this lot was sold by Ivoire Saint-Etienne on October 13th, 2012 as lot number 35.

Farjaire / A St. atienne" on an enamel panel below the dial, cast bronze fronton with the Gallic rooster. Enamel dial is excellent. Cartouche with maker's name is very legible.
