It is difficult to date this clock. Mahogany and carved gilt case appears to be mid 19th century. It has some loss to the gilding and darkening of the finish over the gilding. Carved lyre front has a couple of surface cracks. Metal baffle is replaced. Both tablets have age, but not original. Case brass bezel and dial are oversized. Dial, hands and tablets are c1920 and may have been added to an older case or the entire clock may be c1920.
