Mahogany and mahogany veneered banded case in an old finish. Both tablets are replacements. The dial has the numbers restored, scattered flecks and minor loss at the mounting pins. It also now has a clear overcoat. Period hands. The throat panel is attached to the case with four screws. Modern gilt finial. The movement in this clock has a brass crutch, unless replaced, indicates it is c1850. If original, this may be a replaced movement or the clock a later black & gilt glass clock "converted" to Willard style.
